Update to WordPress 3.1.3
Today (or yesterday?) WordPress 3.1.3 has been released to public. I strongly recommend everyone to update their WordPress as soon as possible as the new update contains security updates.
- Various security hardening by Alexander Concha.
- Taxonomy query hardening by John Lamansky.
- Prevent sniffing out user names of non-authors by using canonical redirects. Props Verónica Valeros.
- Media security fixes by Richard Lundeen of Microsoft, Jesse Ou of Microsoft, and Microsoft Vulnerability Research.
Beware of Osama Bin Laden
Osama Bin Laden might have been shot and killed by American special forces and the world have been warned about the after effect that there might be more series of bombings. We internet users might not expect that the death of Osama Bin Laden will affect us but it does!
Update to WordPress 3.1.2
Yesterday (26 April 2011), a new update for WordPress has been released. 
In summary, the new updates the following:
- Fix a vulnerability that allowed Contributor-level users to improperly publish posts.
- Fix user queries ordered by post count.
